Rare 19th-century brooch of Italian origin. The banjo is handmade in silver and 18Kt (750‰) gold. The jewel is finely crafted and detailed in every aspect. Set into the body are 16 natural old-cut rose diamonds totaling 0.80 carats by indirect measurement. The tight clasp is secure and protects from the pin. The brooch also functions as a pendant, and the box is original and contemporary to the piece.
